About Brikshya Nepal
Nepal (BRIKSHYA NEPAL) is a non-government, non-religious, non-partisan and non-profit social organisation established in 2018 by a group of like-minded youth. The organisation has registered in the CDO office Kathmandu (636) and is affiliated with concern organisation. It has been working across Kathmandu Valley with a strong focus on disadvantaged, marginalized and climate vulnerable communities. Brikshya Nepal operates in key thematic areas including environment conservation, green entrepreneurship, capacity building, digital literacy, disaster risk reduction and response. The organisation has successfully implemented partnership projects in school hygiene promotion, digital literacy and disaster preparedness, emergency response and women empowerment trainings reaching vulnerable children, women and marginalised populations. Our work prioritises vulnerable and marginalised populations and emphasises community-led disaster risk reduction (DRR). Brikshya Nepal comprises diverse and dynamic groups of competent young professionals from different backgrounds. Brikshya Nepal has seven member Executive Committee, five of whom are women, reflecting its strong commitment to gender leadership and inclusive governance.
